Although Rudolf Großfurtner GmbH had already implemented numerous sustainability measures, there was little formalized documentation and reporting on these at the start of the project. This posed a particular challenge, as EcoVadis assesses not only the implementation of sustainability measures but also their transparent and structured communication. 

However, this gap is gradually being closed as part of a parallel project to prepare a sustainability report in accordance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS). 

Through the EcoVadis project, Rudolf Großfurtner GmbH received important insights into which measures and communication tools can be used to improve and effectively communicate their sustainability performance—both specifically for the EcoVadis rating and for other internal and external stakeholders. They gained an initial overview of the current status of their sustainability performance and received guidance on how they can improve.
