Sustainable Development Goals
SDGs Labs is a European project from the Erasmus+ program “Knowledge Alliances”, which was carried out for three years between 2019 and 2022.
The project focuses on the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals), which were defined by the United Nations in 2015 as guidelines for the implementation of sustainable development and have since been incorporated into many programs.
AIM
The AIM is to work with companies to generate a deeper understanding of the complex SDGs and to translate them into business-relevant innovations. A great potential lies in the holistic consideration of the entire cycle of the 17 SDGs, not just individual “low hanging fruits”.
FOCUS
The FOCUS in this project lies in the agro- and food sector, since cycles are particularly well traceable here. These are addressed:
- Companies: from all stages of the value chain – agriculture, food production, retail, …
- Associations and federations
- Start-ups and incubators
SDGs ACADEMIES
We are glad to announce that our learnings and wisdom after the completion of the project, is captured in the SDGs Academies Platform and that it is available for you!
The SDGs Academies is composed of two features:
- For Incubators and start-up academies: the open access online learning tool“Making the SDGs our Business“, is designed as a learning journey to integrate the SDGs into your business performance. You can share it with your start-ups, link it on your website and list your incubator / start-up academy as an SDG pioneer on our international platform.
- For established companies and start-ups: the Business Pioneers Programme targets established companies and offers a flexible workshop design and related materials for a first introduction on the SDGs as well as concrete next steps on how to use them as drivers of change and innovation.
Both are free of charge and available in English, German and Portuguese. We would be glad if you use our platform and spread the word about it.
